Recipe from
HolyLand's Food at the Time of the Bible
- 1/2 pound dried figs
- 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 cup dry red wine
- 1/4 cup clear honey

Directions
Make a hole at the stem end of each fig and stuff with
walnuts. Place in a 6" casserole. Mix the wine
and honey and pour over the figs. Cover and bake for 30
minutes. Serve at room temperature.
